Special Recruitment for Foreign Residents
- 5 Present documents proving you hold foreign citizenship or acquired Japanese citizenship within the past 6 years to the school you plan to apply to.
- 6 Present documents (passport, etc.) proving entry to Japan was within the past 6 years to the school you plan to apply to.
Special Recruitment for Overseas Returnees
- 7 Present documents (passport of guardian and applicant or company certificate, etc.) proving continuous residence in a foreign country for 2 years or more due to guardian's work, and that the return date was on or after April 1, 2023, to the school you plan to apply to.

About Second Choices
For part-time high schools that have two or more divisions (morning division, afternoon division, etc.), you can apply to another division as your second choice.
Also, for high schools with two or more departments in agriculture, industry, commerce, and fisheries, you can apply to another department as your second choice.However, second choices are only considered if the first choice does not reach capacity. -
Yokohama International High School
For the International Department (excluding International Baccalaureate Course) and International Department International Baccalaureate Course, you can apply to the other as your second choice within the same school.
